2009 has been a busy year for ICNZ MMA.
November 28th will mark ICNZ’s 4th full MMA show for the year.
ICNZ have also hosted 2 judging workshops, 1 referee’s course and the first ICNZ Contender Series Grappling event.
Daniel DIGBY became ICNZ’s first Pro Super Lightweight Champion after winning a hotly contested four man tournament on ICNZ 5.
Gareth EALEY and Jerry NORRIS also joined the ranks of ICNZ Champions in the Super Welterweight and Featherweight divisions respectively.
ICNZ has also had fighter’s representing in Australian promotions.
Karl WEBBER became our first inductee to the ICNZ and NZMMA.tv Hall of Fame, and another stalwart of New Zealand Mixed Martial Arts will be joining Karl come November 28.
Fighters from Australia and Fiji as well as all corners of New Zealand have appeared on ICNZ cards in 2009.
ICNZ have also been able to help out in other areas making donations to Red Cross, Canteen, Sporting teams and local community groups to the value of over $2500
