About Selby…
My interest in Strength and Conditioning began at the age of 18 whilst playing competitive Rugby Union in Australia for numerous years. As a result I searched to gain the knowledge needed to pilot not only myself but others to the top of their physical conditioning and wellbeing. After becoming a qualified Strength and Fitness Coach my passion for strength training had begun and the journey for peak physical strength and conditioning took off. Whilst gaining remarkable results in the gym I was then introduced to the highly competitive sports of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. My passion for strength and performance in such mental and physical demanding sports has led me to dedicating the last 5 years within the fitness industry into striving towards pinnacle results for not only myself but my clients and colleagues. Since moving back to New Zealand where I was born I have found a new home at Aucklands top Strength and Conditioning gym, Netfit Training Room under gym owner and Olympic weightlifting specialist Tina Ball. Under the Netfit umbrella I have gained and developed a diverse repertoire of knowledge, skills and training techniques. My martial arts training has also found itself a new home in Auckland under Gracie Barra Black Belt Master and World Champion Steve Oliver and successful World famous trainer Lollo Heimuli.
