Refs Seminar Theory Start: 1.30pm – 4.00pm 29th October
Refs Seminar Practical: Start 10am – 1.00pm 30th October
Cost will be $50 per seminar or $70 for both Judges and refs combined. Registration and payment can be made through our website.
Applicants for Level One Probationary Referee’s
- Must be in reasonable physical condition
- Must have a sound knowledge of ICNZ rulesets
- Must have an understanding of how an ICNZ MMA bout is judged.
- Must have a minimum 2 years involvement in combat sports
- Must have a demonstrable knowledge of the holds and techniques utilised in MMA
Applicants must be able to pass a written test covering….
- MMA techniques and terminologies
- Rules and guidelines of refereeing an ICNZ bout concerning safety, conduct, positioning and fundamental knowledge
Applicants must also pass a physical exam, testing their skills in relation to refereeing an ICNZ bout.
Applicants for Level One Probationary Judges
- Must have a basic knowledge of the holds and techniques utilised in MMA
- Must have a sound knowledge of ICNZ rulesets
- Must have an understanding or the referees actions in relation to judging
Applicants must be able to pass a written test covering….
- MMA techniques and terminologies
- Fundamentals of Judging and scoring an ICNZ bout
Applicants will also be reviewed whilst scoring recorded bouts.
